About non auto resolve battle need click on options for it i think before start the game. You have checked it?
Honestly if the game have auto resolve only not is really nice in campaign. I have tested napoleon total war and not is nice. I prefer like attila campaign multy :)
We will test more & report our findings....
I think the op mean the base game multiplayer campaign without mod.
I not says to apply manual battle for all but optional for who like it not force to automatic for all people :) in attila, for example, can spectating it.
thats because it's the same beta from 15 years ago, back then it was busted with bugs/glitches and dsync/crash issues, they stopped working on it due to it being too must of a burden and scrapped it for ETW and instead worked more in depth on it in NTW, it's had no patches or fix's, just same beta that they've re-opened to the public as they got tired of people messaging asking for the code for it, so yeah same old beta, no fix's/patches so it's gonna be just as busted xD
Some of the issues we've identified so far include:
- Crashing when trying to repair a fleet
- Crashing during the AI's turns
- Crashing when assigning a government member to a cabinet role
- Desync on the map - territory and armies having different results in a battle resulting in both players having different nations owning different parts of the maps and armies. One example was Lombardy being lost to the Italian States in a victory on my friend's screen, but the opposite on my screen. Another example of this was my friend taking a territory off the dutch, but this did not show on my screen and instead remaining dutch.
- Random crashes during the turn. In one case we both did not touch anything during a turn.
Frustratingly, my friend and I have given up trying to get the campaign to work as we find it almost completely unplayable. This is a massive disappointment considering that we were pleasantly surprised to see the multiplayer campaign introduced and excited to try it out.
A shame really.
yup xD i doubt they'll attempt to fix it at this point, i think we'd have more luck getting empire 2 xD but i too live in hope
Me too :)
