Its a overhaul mod that changes many aspects of the game. Just type 'Darthmod Empire' into google and you will find it. :)

As someone else mentioned, its an overhaul mod, which is brilliant and probably the most popular modification for this game. It adds huge undertaking stuff (such as much better A.I.) and several tweaks like more units, superior soundtrack, better effects, and more. There's even Darthmod for the rest of the Total War titles except for the first two and Rome 2.

If you don't like it, you can easily convert back to vanilla by using the launcher that comes with the mod. It is highly recommended though that you do have a bit of experience with installing mods and finding your way through files and folders before you download it. And although it depends, it will probably take a while to complete installing. And do follow the instructions carefully.

Don't know in specific, but overhaul mods are not compatible with other overhaul mods (like Imperial Splendor and The Blue and the Gray). Some little tweak mods MIGHT work, but its very risky to run more than one mod at the same time, which usually won't work anyway.

Darthmod is somewhat buggy, in my experience.
For some reason Darthmod will work fine for me for several sessions, then the game will crash on loading a save.
I have followed the advice of verifying game cache, deleting preferences and user script files, etc., howewer now when I click on Empire, the game refuses to even launch.

well darthmod is the best mod ever !!! since i got darthmod i never played vanilla anymore because darthmod features improved ai more units in the campaign map larger armies means large epic battles improved effects many more

Haviong actually played other mods as well I think Darthmod is a bloated pile of poo no better than vanilla.

so whats the difference between Darthmod Ultimate Commander and Darthmod Empire? Are the same thing?
