Have some problem with Darthmod
So, can anyone help me with this, I already take a look at the forum and it seems like its quite inactive for a while now, could really aprreciate the help.

Can install properly, following all the instruction I can find, can play the game properly, yet when I try to play using the Launcher or DME ready, it can't, it just says 'Application load error 5:0000065434'

So any help, anyone?

This sounds like something similar to what happened to me. When you install darthmod, make a shortcut to the "DarthMod Empire" Application on your desktop. Clicking this should start the game with the DarthMod menu. You basicaly only use that shortcut to start the game. Otherwise, if you try to open the vanilla shortcut in steam it won't work.

So after you open your App., Just hit start and it should work. I know you said you can play the game properly, I'm just a bit confused and i think this MIGHT be a solution? Other than that I'm not sure. I think you'd know this already if you're a DarthMod fan. Sorry that's all i can provide.

Is this anything like what you might be experiencing?

I meant to say that with "Vanilla Ready" option when quitting the Launcher and without the Darthmod Install, it works fine as in I can play the game.

When I press "Start" from the launcher or with DME ready, is says 'Application load error 5:0000065434'

After u start the DM,you must start the game over the Steam Button and it runs !

Already tried that the first time, quit the launcher and pick DME ready and start at Steam (both steam and window ahortcut), still says same thing

Not sure if same probelm but mine was crashing when launching grand campaign.

Steam hates launchers so you have to start steam first. Then launch the Darthmod launcher after it.

IIRC, you need to make sure you've run Empire at least once, in order for it to set the .ini files, before you install/run Darthmod. That might be one of the issues you're experiencing.

After that, and after Dartmod is installed, all you have to do is to make sure that Steam is running in the background. Then, you run the Darthmod launcher. If Steam isn't running, Darthmod can't execute the game.

I have made certain to start Steam first, played a few skirmish, discovered DarthMod and the various fanatical praise heaped upon it, download it, tried playing, didn't work.

Didn't matter if I 'Start' at the launcher, or 'Start' at Steam with DME ready, it says: Application load error 5:0000065434

Not sure if you found the answer yet but if you haven't, you might want to look at this:

I don't fully understand it but, you know, maybe you do....

just for the record. You start the DM launcher, you click start, Then, without closing the DM launcher, you go to steam and start the game from there. That doesn't work for you?
