Cant delete Saved Games for Empire Total War

So Ive searched this out on the internet since they failed to put a delete button to delete saved games.
I followed these instructions:
C:/users/yourusername/Appdata/roaming/thecreativeassembly/empire/save_games

Which after the saved files are deleted, I went back loaded the game, and saved games are still there, still work - even though they are deleted in folder...
Im baffled. How do I delete these and what am I doding wrong?

Go to your C drive and type Empire in your search, that's the only way I found it. You can then right click and create a shortcut at your convenience for future ease.
