What is your longest Campaign?

I started a Campaign as the British quite a while ago, and the year is now 1920 :) I havent started any other campaigns (Except the Road to Independance). How far have you gotten?

I had to physically force myself to keep going to 1799 to complete a campaign.

Lol, i just wanted total domination of everything i guess, there are only like 8 factions left in my camp, im actually letting rebellions occur to add more factions

1920? do you mean 1720? The longest run I had was with the Marathas (of course) where upon i conquered all India, the Middle-East, North Africa (to Morocco), and the balkans up to Austria. Also had American colonies. Indians taking over the world...EVERYONE was Hindu. It was an intense game.

No I meant 1920 (Soz for the long wait as I was away for the week) My British empire was cool and I didnt feel like changing.

Well not in Empire, but I had a campaign in Medieval 2 run well into the 18th century as the Moors.

The campaign objective does, but after either failing or succeeded in that objective, the actual campaign goes on forever. I too am in the 18th century in my M2TW game as England.

Confused with the 1920s in ETW, thought game only went upto 1799? or is there a certain setting that lets you carry on until total domination??

Prussie it lasted to 1792 before i took over the world. I could have done it by 1735 but, i decided to wait and let the world think they were safe. First to fall was Austrie then Poland, and well you get the point. The last country to hold out was Russia with there allied sweeden.

Campaign goals must be accomplished by set date. The game just keeps on running.

I haven't tried since around 2011 but I kept experiencing a BUG that wouldn't allow me to load a SAVE game file after like turn 120 ish. Had it happen multiple different times with different factions. I would have loved to play my English campaign for as long as you did but the game wouldn't let me...:(

Same hapened for me twice while playing as portugal. if you are using mods,unninstal them and reinstall them and it should be fine.

i nearly took over the world as united provinces fighting maratha in the 1890's, but had to quit cause it was lagging sooo bad, and would basically burn my laptop

I had my Prussian save in Empire total war, I was playing in 1950s XD

I have to hand a congratulation to anyone who goes beyond 1799..!! Did not realize so many had ventured into the unknown..
