Darthmod Flags
I've recently reinstalled DME after a long while. I've noticed that the large flags on the campaign map are still the vanilla ones. I have tried everything; reinstalling ETW and DME did not fix the problem. DME never gave me this issue before.
Also, other flag mods don't work with DME now, what's up with that?

I'm currently using the CoatofarmsFlags.pack from this file without issue.

In dartmod the flags are working and many are not the same for many countries than vanilla. But there are differences for one Kingdom -> between Kingdom flag, land flag and naval flag. Flags change if you become a Republic etc (alternative flags).

You can download this mod (integrated in Darthmod) but take alternative version to be even more historical, this is more historical than the mod above:

Here lies the issue. ETW is not reading the mod file at all. No matter what I do, I cannot make these flag mods work in game. I have no clue what changed in the last 5 years lol.

Okay, I figured it out. If you're using Darthmod on the new patch of ETW you need to uninstall DME, uninstall ETW, and reinstall everything in order. Making sure to remove Empire Total War folder from your steam directory too.

Damn this labyrinth!!!

Okayyy, yes that's the base ;) If you have problem with musket and canon sounds, I have solution: go steam library and download Empire version before last patch. Last version disable new sounds of Darthmod................

You know, I was actually quite out of practice with my file knowledge of TW games. I was using NapEffects and remembered that it had NTW flags in the rigimodels folder lmao. Removing those solved the entire problem. However, a fresh reinstall of everything didn't hurt either. Thanks for the ideas!
Have you tried changing the pack type in PFM? Sometimes, switching between Movie and Mod can help sometimes in getting the game to read it.

Also, you're including the pack file name in user.dme_script as well?

My issue was that there was another mod I was using that had flags conflicting with other flags. Rookie mistake by an old-head.
