Try to make peace and start trading with someone. That is all I can tell you at this point. How much of the America's do you own? You could trade a province that is close to the Iroquios to a European power for peace. If you think you will lose it anyway, why not get some use out of it?

I would say become allies with nations that are next to your enemies and try and make peace with your enemy and if thats fails your allies should help!

Secure a single region in Europe... Paris, France for example. Then build an enormous army and fleet with your remaining funds. Go to India. Conquer it all. I now it'll be hard but use the principle "war-capture region-peace" and so on untill you capture all of Maratha, Mughal and Mysore. You can take Sri Lanka if you want. As India is the richest region in ETW, you'll become VERY wealthy. Then your time comes. Build few big armies and fleets, go to Europe, retake what is rightfully yours and then win the wars with Britain, the Iroquois Confederacy and beat all of your other enemies. This should work, if you have remaining turns to 1799 to do it. I wish you luck! :))

with france you must first make as much trade as possible in the 1st turn. the minor german nations make good trade partners for the first few turns but they should also be among your first targets just for expansion. also in that first turn you can get around 4 to 5,000 if you sell the small city next to new france(forgot the name). this will be enough money to make a full army or build on economy. another target must be savoy because they will attack you(usually when your armies are far and away so try to take them out within the first 5 turns).

now i havent played france in a while but at this point after 5 turns you might be losing money depending on how many armies you have. i would think you need one in the south so you can attack venice and rome, one in the north incase prussia is expanding rapidly and one in the americas fighting the british. you'd probably have enough money for one more army so its vital who you attack. london will only get you so far but in india the cities are money makers. i wouldnt send trade fleets unless you've taken out all the pirate islands which i doubt.

the key really is the india theatre but i always like to give them time to build up all their cities before i invade that way im for sure gonna get money. i made a successful empire with france and thats pretty much the route i went. in the beginning i researched cannister shells first that way i could shred armies and save my mens lives without wasting money replenishing them. good luck on your conquest commander!

WOAH. I'd try and make peace with some nations and focus on taking on one or two at a time. then give Labrador to the inuit, they won't stop fighting you for it if you're at war with them, damn resiliant too. Just save your self the trouble and donate Labrador.
