How to access gameplay menue w/o esc key.
Long story short, I spilled beer on my keyboard. Most keys work except for esc (and a couple other that don't really matter for this scenario). I have a bluetooth keyboard that I usually use for my iPad. The keyboard however has a button for the square wake-up key where the esc key should go. I cannot use this key as an esc key. I essentially have no esc key anymore.

I cannot for the life of me access the in game menu so that I can save the game. I have to watch the entire intro credits everytime I start the game also, because all of these things are tied to having an esc key.

Is there anyway to edit this? There is nothing in the game options menu for editing this aspect of the game, ie. opening the menues and skipping scenes.

Well, for starters, you still can save your game, by using CTRL + S to quicksave. :steamhappy:

Awesome! I tried that but didn't see any notifaction that saving took place. I've got a new keyboard on order, it will just be an annoying few weeks I guess.

It didn't work. :/ I'm on a Mac running OS 10.9.5 if that changes anything.

I can only imagine how much beer has been spilt by OP in the eight years that this thread was dormant.
