Click on a unit and several icons will line up to the right...the top one with the "+" is what you what. While holding down shiftt, click on the first unit to the left in a full or partial stack and then on the last unit to right--all will be highlighted--click the "+" and healing will occur up tp the limit of your current treasury.
Simpler means to the same end...
ctrl+A to highlight all the stack. Then click on the "+" button to repair only the depleated units.
Incidentally, hovering over the "+" button gives a preview of the cost/costs.
Additionally, troops reduced from 120 to 30 won't retain their experience since they will be 3/4s full of green troops. IMO, unless the troops in question have experience...and... are only lightly reduced, it's better to consolidate and buy new units.
Also, it takes (usually) more than a couple of turns to rebuild. (Ships are an exception. They can be replenished in one turn if in port.)
Wait, you can consolidate units? How?
There's a minor saving by reducing the number of units to be rebuilt. Plus, in a pinch you can go to battle with only a few sub-strength units in your stack, the rest being at full strength.
Yes, and I've yet to figure out the "why" or "how long" criteria. But it certainly is annoying considering ships always replenish in one turn.
