empire 2 sound
I got a mod called empire 2, if anybody has played it. Is it possible to change out the musket sound effects to a more vanilla and more cracking sound?

Search for Empire total war musket sounds and see what pops up. there are a few such alternative stand alone mods for this.
Or use PFM to find the offending sound files and remove them manually from said mod.

okay, theres a file called sound packs. Should I just copy and paste it into another folder or a safe place, then delete the one in there?

Give it a shot yeah, just back up the .pack before hand and delete sound file from the mod and see what happens.
If something goes wrong copy the backup back in.
