AI is broken after even installing Darth Mod

i remember stopping to play this game years ago because the AI was game breaking. i boght it only because the total war series is on a sale and i bought some of them. i installed darth mod like i should.

1. crash when i pressed on the warpath campaign (dissapointing becasue its one of my favorites)

2. OST is replaced with generic holywood ost by darthmod. dont know how to change it. i want the original ost

3. in the road to the independence when attacking a native american settelment the enemy will not attack or do anything. only stand in place

this is the sort of things that broke the game for me years ago and i do not know how to fix it. that the enemy will just stand in place and not attack or do anything

Guess the main solution is not to play Darthmod.

Also, only your 3rd complain actually concerns the AI.

i will try it but i dont think it will fix it. this game is broken. this game was always broken.

maybe at least i could play the warpath campaign because i love native americans

the darth mod has a font mod which is critical for me because the font in the vanilla is too small

Darth mod does nothing about the AI.

The AI is camping because it believes it outguns you. Learn to maneuver so as to eliminate its artillery advantage, so that it will come at you. And stop complaining about how stupid the AI is - when it's actually engaging in very astute behaviour.

Any mod that claims to "fix the ai" is lying. The ai cannot be "fixed" by mods. You can change the priority of the ai's instructions but that's it.

Honestly still amazed that Empire Total War gets bashed the most for "bad ai" when practically ALL the total war ai is noticeably bad after you've played for several hours (EDIT:On top of that, EVERY video game AI is noticeably "bad" after you learn how to play, because artificial intelligence is just a code script of instructions. Computers cannot think or become intelligent)

Heck I've played for hundreds and hundreds of hours since 2009, and all in all ETW is still very enjoyable. And I only use light mods like retextures or those that weaken Maratha and reduce fort battles

if you watched the video you saw that its not "bad AI". i wish that was "bad AI". no. its unresponsive game breaking AI. not even fit for an alpha release. a unit that will stand in place and not attack me no matter what i do when i can just shot them.

I watched your video now and I can honestly say I have not seen that before. I don't use Darthmod though.

i deleted darthmod and installed the game again and this was fixed

That's good. You're far from the first person I've heard say darthmod causes more problems than it fixes. If you're just really into the game's time period and combat and want mods designed to increase your enjoyment of those things I can refer you to some "lite" mods.

The big fat overhaul mods ain't worth it imo
