esf editor question

im using esf editor not easy esf im wondering can I edit a nation so it can produce a unit it originaly could not make like give line infantry to the barbary states so they can make it

its possible, you have to edit esf, i highly recommend you save a copy of the original esf just in case. you have to find the unit production area in the esf and add lines of script search google for a possible line of script to do it since the game has been out since 09' im sure theres one available.

No, you cannot do that with ESF editor. To achieve your intended effect you need Pack File Manager.
