Doesn't work after trying to downlaod ACW Brother vs. Brother Mod.

Hi,
I tried downloading the Brother vs. Brother mod awhile back. I haven't been able to play Empire for aver a year now...Maybe longer. :( There seemed to be two different versions of the mod in one download, which I thought was strange. And then when the mod dindn't work, I uninstalled it and deleted all the mod files. Empire still won't work... I watched numerous Youtube videos and went online to see if I could manage to fix it... It didn't work... I've been told that I need to get a new computer to play it again... and it worked on my computer before, but I honestly don't know what's wrong now. I tried uninstalling the game and reinstalling it several times, but I've had no success... Any help is appreciated. Thank you for reading this and taking the time!

When I had that same problem with trying to play ACW mod, and with it corrupting my P.C; I after awhile decied to wipe my comp hard disk...file and all, started fresh. Now I can play ETW just fine. Mybe something to consider.

if that doesn't work try uninstalling the game then deleting any Empire total war files on your cpu then reinstall the game,it worked for me.

Go to your Empire data folder, and delete this file after unistalling the ACW mod.

Its a leftover file that is not removed from the unistaller, causing vanilla ETW to crash.

Did this work for you? I've deleted this file but it still doesn't work. I have uninstalled ACW and Empire. Then re-installed Empire and verified the files and it still hasn't worked. Someone said something about another minor script file but I don't know which ones are ACW and which ones are Empire. Any help?

I did have to delete some files, and now it worked!! Thank you everyone for you help!!! :)
