Units sorting
Good afternoon

I would like to know if for a given army on the map, it is possible to change the order the units are shown. The idea is to group the cavalary, the infantery... who gets mixed up by the AI

Thank you

I don't believe there is. Frankly I can't think of a TW game that lets you do that until Rome 2 came out.

You could do it in Rome 1, And when I statrted to play Empire, that pissed me off.
So far I haven't been able to figure it out for Empire, so unless someone has some idea, i'm positive it can't be done.

You can't do it in Empire, I tried when I played last. Had no idea you could do it in Rome 1 though...

It can be done in medieval II also...
Are you sure? Because I've been playing Medieval II for about a solid week now and besides a trick involving unit groupings I don't know how to.

The way I do is to Control select them 1 by 1 then move them. It worked worked in rome 1 also but Empire and forward it doesn't anymore.
Huh... Good to know.

It sucks, because it makes it much easier to keep unit types grouped, you can easily see how many of each type you have. I also find it easier whenfinding a battle to see which units are in combat.
I don't know why they changed it?

It probably has something to do with the engine swap. Might have been more technically demanding and they didn't have it down yet or something.
