How do you repair settlement walls?
They got wrecked up, but they don't seem to repair between battles, nor do I have an option to make repairs to the building on the campaign map either.

Click on the image representing them in the settlement menu while on the campaign map, and a button should light up on the right. That will be the "repair" option.

Yeah, it's not lighting up unfortunately.

That seems odd. Where are you doing it from?

If you click on the building, are there three buttons at the right side of the scroll, one of which is the option to destroy said building?

I just have two buttons. The greyed out repair one, and the click to dismantle one. And it doesn't indicate the forts are damaged at all-- this is in Milan, in this particular instance-- but in battle the fort has been pretty wrecked up by cannon fire.

That's just plain odd. Perhaps in this case there was some sort of auto repair?

It might be worth trying to flure an enemy army into attacking just to see. but this sounds completely unlike anything I've heard of, I'm sorry to say.

That is a glitch that happens for some, it’s mainly with forts though.

Hmm. Is there any way to fix it?

The glitch, I mean, not the walls. Though necessarily both.

do you have the money to pay for the repairs?
Rather Useless Aug 1, 2014 @ 4:50pm
Yeah.

Although I have not hear of a fix there may be one out there, sorry :(

It's true I have had a few forts I could not repair. My advice line up the hole with a cannon and give them some grape!
TriangularCube Aug 3, 2014 @ 7:27pm
The only way to fix them is to destroy the fortification, then build a new one. Its been like that since day 1 and never fixed.
Rather Useless Aug 3, 2014 @ 7:31pm
Yeesh.

Do what erick said.
Ijust put a cannon at the hole in the wall, backed up by some line infantry, when the enemy comes through, fire grapeshot at them. The infantry will finish the rest off.

Okay, weird to bring it up like 6 years later, but: I found a pretty simple way (bug?) to repair your walls after a battle. You need to destroy a building inside the fort with canons. Then in the next battle the building and every destroyed fortification will be as new.
It works even for battles in the same enemy turn. I'm not 100% sure if it works in every case for i have tried it only in a small western fort with destroying the armory, but i think it will work in every other case aswell.
