How do I install the mod manager?

I've been trying to mod this game, but I have no idea how modding works. I've been seeing something about a launcher or a mod manager, but I can't seem to install them correctly.

Doesn't exist for ETW.
All modding has to be done by manually editing and copying/moving files.

what mods you trying to use?
best ones out there that are completed are imperial destroyer 6.2, has alot of submods but easy to follow instructions on how to use them, or imperial splendour has made quite alot of progress, if you want to do your own stuff get esfeditor or DBeditor or packfile then go to TWcentre.net and just ask the guys there, because of the largeness of the modding community you will probably find what your looking for.

Just a fairly small mod. It the All Factions mod (The newish one that came out last month). I couldn't figure out how to change eras. For example: there are late campaigns and early campaigns in the mod. I'm just trying to figure out how to change from late to early.
