american civil war mod brother vs brother crashs after i press play at the menu

The mod worked fine yesterday where i first downloaded it but now the game crashs when i try to play it. The game starts up i get to the menu i select single player i press play and it crashs. I really don't know what to do. The mod has not been worked on or updated in years so is that the problem a unstable mod?

your game is crashing because you probably have mod files installed that aren't relevant, havent been updated. Try a clean install but make sure you clean out your folder in %appdata%/roaming/creativeassembly etc.etc.

just delete the entire Empire folder. Reinstall, and then reinstall Brother v Brother.

This happened to me because I tried to install the now defunct ACW mod off moddb, which breaks your game.
