tons of good mods, from unlocking all factions over more realistic stationary flags rather than the wavy ones over enhanced smoke mod and better musket sounds to removing backpacks of line infantry etc. not even talking about darthmod

GUYS! i played all total war games since the first game released (i was 12 y.o.) and i tell you that probably this one is the one best developed so far; and YES! DARTH MOD for this game is "THE" MOD - definitely - absolutely

Another very nice chapter of total war could be Medieval Total War 2 - with it's Third Age Total War mods saga.... but is slightly different under many aspects of gameplay expecially in the tactical management

no, darthmod completely reworks the game to the modder's vision and destroys the CA original in the process. Metric tons of new units to the point where you cant even make out the individual unit cards, complete "rebalancing", I think there are people out there who are happy with cosmetic mods and want to play CA's game :)

Darthmod is a cheat mod that overpowers lesser units and doesnt change the AI recruit priority so that your lower tier units just walk right over their upper tier units. It is as close to God Mode as you can get. Darthmod makes your game Tic Tac Toe. In other words, if you are lose a province, army, or even just a battle playing Darthmod you are a complete moronic idiot.

with this one you can play any in game country ( PIRATES INCLUDED! )

OF COURSE playing a mod means you got a modified campaign: and why the heck should anyone ever insall a mod if not for he got bored with old vanilla version??
OF COURSE, introducing new things and units rosters, balance of game goes changed and slightly simplified for human players because is meant to allow you to win using smaller factions that otherwise would have no chances at all
OF COURSE you risk to be unhappy of new modded game: but if you do not try you will never know/ will never find any improvements.... so never listen to much to other BIGGGGG players: JUST INSTALL AND PLAY YOURSELVES ;)))

Just FYI I like and run all the DLCs that Steam sells for ETW except Warpath (bought it but don't like it). Also, the DarthMod Empire mod and AUM = Additional Units Mod.
