64-bit support for windows?
Since the macOS version has been out for around 2 years, are the other versions available on steam now also 64-bit?

No. Only Mac versions because of the way Mac works and hates everything that isn't up to date, Feral Interactive had to update all Total War games to be 64bit compatible otherwise they wouldn't be able to be played on Mac versions.

Since that isn't the case for Windows, CA hasn't updated them.

You can use LargeAdressAware to allow the game to use more than 2gb of RAM but it will still only use 1 core only.

this stinks.. I have a 2022 el cheapo gaming laptop with a core-i9 and the game is crashing after playing an hour or so... noticed it showed in task manager as a 32 bit game...

Because it is.

Majority of crashses are related to RAM so using a program like LAA to allow the game to use more than 2GB of RAM will circumvent majority of crashes.

heyo.

you could use the 4gb patch application to allow for RAM usage. as Inardesco mentioned in using LAA. a different but same result application..

here is the link

good to use on all older games that limit their RAM usage due to then OS capability.

all the best.
