HOW TO FIX GAME???????

Basically i click play it shows the first screen then just exits. What do i do?

Game should work perfectly fine , I think you will find its your software thats at fault not the game otherwise the forums would be awash with fix the game threads.

Have the Same Problem .

Yeah Software Problem all other Steam games and other Games Work Only this one doesnt Work.

Mods? Its undoubtly your software like i said if it was the game everyone would be complaining as it happens nobody is.

Sounds like a mod issue or you messed about with the game files.

I have no Mods for Empire Total War. I uninstall the Game and Reinstall it .Same Problem

When you try reinstalling it, do you make sure all files associated with the game are actually gone? Also, it could be your drivers.

Don't be so sure - Empire, there is not more of a broken Total war title. Sadly.

Finding Empire Total War and Medieval Total war both broken on my computer since the last Steam update. Have played both on steam for years. Have deleted all mods, uninstalled and reinstalled on steam, have verified local files and suddenly nothing works. Seems to be an issue with all of my Total war games that I installed from Steam only since the last Steam update.

Can you clarify what you mean by 'First Screen'?

same here crash on load, Creative asembly screen, im sure ive had this happen previously but cant remember the solution!
