Best unit for fire rate would probably be Windbuschenjager who can fire off probably 6-7 vollies in a minute. In terms of raw firepower though it might actually be the 1st Maryland Regiment as it has the highest reload speed for a rank firing unit.

To some dagree...but minute men with ease can route the 1st maryland...the Windbuschenjager only have 45 men so that limits their shots greatly, 120 shots at the same time will route most troops...if you have them 5 ranks they will stop cav.

No. Minutemen will get stomped by 1st Maryland easily. They have 30 accuracy to the 1st Maryland's 50 and 15 reload to the 1st Maryland's 55. They also have less morale and worse melee. The Minutemen don't all fire, that's not how skirmish drill works. Usually the first two ranks will fire and the third rank firing is dependent upon whether or not it has a line of sight to the target. You're also assuming that all 120 shots hit their target. Which is nonsense. Finally, because of the way damage and health are calculated in this, even if you did fire 120 shots and all 120 of them hit, you wouldn't actually kill 120 men. As for the Windbuschenjager, yeah, they only have 45 men, but they have 125 range (so they'll start shooting you long before you can return fire), 70 accuracy (so they'll hit most of their targets), and absurdly fast reload. They are, in the field of fire rate, unchallenged.

tl;dr: 1st Maryland is better in every conceivable way and the entire unit will fire. Not all the Minutemen will fire. Maybe 3/4 of the Minutemen will fire, and maybe 35% of those shots will hit.

No, they don't fire more quickly. They may get their initial volley off faster but their disparity in reload speed means that the 1st Maryland is literally going to fire three volleys for every one that the Minutemen fire. That's not even taking into account accuracy and morale. I've tested this game to quite an extent and I can tell you as someone with significantly more experience that Minutemen would get stomped by the 1st Maryland. We can test this if you'd like and I can guarantee that the 1st Maryland would win 10/10 times. You'd have to be a sped to think that militia is going to beat elite infantry.

Okay but that's just exploiting a flaw in game mechanics and doesn't actually represent the quality of a unit, or in particular the fire rate of the unit. Also, in a head on fight they're still not likely to beat line infantry. Line infantry has 10 more accuracy and 10 more reload, in addition to one extra morale. Although the minutemen MIGHT be able to beat Russian Line Infantry in a shootout.

i have played many battles with minute men and rifles only 2 arty and 4/5 times i win against my opponet

and minute men are cheap if you vetran them to the same cost they will MOSTLY win
