How can I play as Hungary?
I wanna play as Hungary, but I am not sure how I can. Would "Minor Factions Revenge" allow me to play as Hungary?

why? it´s vanilla with the option to play all factions.

dont know.
im a simple guy, i dont do fancy mods likes darthmode.
but playing hungary will always suck cause it´s a one building region. play autria and pretend its the austro-hungarian empire.
napoleon total war has at least some nice hungarian units.

You could try getting rid of Darth mod.

Yea you can only use 1 start pos file per mod so anything that changes the campaign map you need to be careful of.

Whenever I start ETF I get a Steam error. :(

How do you not properly install ETF? It literally installs itself. I have it properly installed, obviously.

Existing mods sometimes changes the file-path in steam like Darthmod make sure you have deleted the file-path.

So for instance if your running Vanilla normally its C/Steam.SteamApps/Common/Empire.
