steam workshop?
Does this tw game have a steam workshop? If not where would you get a mod to improve this? funny thing is ive been playing this game since it came out on two different accounts, as a matter of fact this is the game that forced me to install steam lol. Never thought about modding it, but tbh its kinda lacking in certain areas.

Mods can be found on TW Center. And no, this game does not have a workshop.

The only mod I have ever run with Empire and I have felt that it really helps tie it together and let it be what it was intended to be is Darth Mod. Check it out maybe its the only mod youll find you need.

Darthmod is just an easy mode with lousy balancing and half-finished units. I'd recommend getting PFM and ESF Editor so you can customize your game exactly how you want it.

Darthmod is a balanced mod with finished units and I don't find much difference in difficulty than vanilla

Starting funds in the tens of thousands. Solid balancing. Unit info pics pulled from google images, and some units lacking description text altogether. Very finished. I mean maybe it's just my opinion, but this does not at all look, "finished" to me. And I can't imagine how having millions by the middle of the game equates to balance.

Can't really call it a balanced mod if I can pull a 25k income at turn 10.

If we're suggesting mods here then I would reccomend Imperial Splendour mixed with Regiments of American Revolution (Especially if you play as England or France). PFM and ESF editor are also really cool too. I actually use Imperial Splendour with Regiments of American Revolution, And I've edited them with PFM and ESF and I've enjoyed it very much. Better units, Better econmy that isn't to easy or too hard. Although RoAR units have slighlty less men in them. For a 100 man infantry unit in Imperial Splendour you'll get an 80 man infantry from RoAR, I still think the battles are even.

The campaign map and the Nation/Battle flags are 10X TIMES AS GOOD !!!!

Real easy to install too.

Seriously compare these two images of the campaign map and be amazed at how dull it can look.

Hmmm....80 men units aren't much. Then again, I've played several campaigns now with 420 soldiers per line infantry, 175 for cavalry, 80 for bodyguards and 60 soldiers crewing the guns/mortars/howitzers.

It is annoying size for the fort battles though.
Insaniac Oct 20, 2017 @ 1:18pm
Smaller unit sizes are sometimes a benefit as they offer better handling.

True, but they don't really give out the idea that a grand battle is fought when there's like, 600 troops against 600 troops in comparison to 5k against 5k.

I have my unit sizes set to medium because my PC isn't that powerful, So The RoAR units can be bigger but they will still be outnumbered by the other units.

All factions have greater than vanilla starting cash, sounds even to me. As for the extra units they are complete but a few (very few) descriptions are basic or not as informative as vanilla units. You're being really nitpicky on the descriptions but I understand you're a DM hater to the core. I think maybe some of those descriptions have been updated since those pic's, I've never come across a unit with a totally blank description (I could be wrong)
