Navy Uniforms (1680-1718) Help Needed.

Hey guys & gals,

I'm drawing a piece of artwork on the death of Blackbeard at the hand of Lt. Robert Maynard and his crew. I know the dates are off, but I'm sure there are people here with more information than me.
I'd like some links to pictures of exactly what the common seaman would wear and what Lt. Maynard would've worn in 1718 or as close before that date.

You could glance a peak at Black Sails, this show is around 1718ish and the fight for Nassau but from what I've gathered, it's just redcoats.

I'll give it a look, but redcoats I'm good at, the navy in general, not so much.

Well, you could always get some inspiration from Black Sails/Black Flag (AC 4) and the somewhat lesser historical accurate Pirates of the Caribean. Though both Black Sails and Black Flag have the redcoats for the navy alongside the army. Though with the navy in Black Flag less "pristine" than the army offcourse.
