Heck no, want to check it out.
When will that game go on sale?
A lot of these overhaul mods try to make the campaign "epic" by making unit upkeep cheaper. Personally, I do not like the realism of facing off against full stack armies every corner.
Darthmod is definitly on a must play list for any Empire or Napoleon TW player, but like Hazard said, it takes away the strategic feeling.

If you are looking for a mod that changes about everything and like MFR, does not get too carried away with spam armies, Imperial Destroyer is another route. I would recomend browsing the Gameplay Options thread inside his mod section and grab some things to help out a bit with religion and economy because it's vanilla version is the hardest experience you will ever have.
If you want a list of mods I use with MFR I can link you to them. I have some of the best experiences with that mod every time.
