Censorship issues?

If you would look into the developers and publishers past titles you would know that they don't censor their stuff, Little Witch Nobeta was always intended to be tame and toned down compared to their previous games, it is a creative decision.

I do appreciate that in Food Wars' case they don't remove the original sprites from the game, making the patching easy. No Mod needed.

That was do to steam, and they provided a workaround at the risk of being banned from steam, they didn't censor their own game, steam did.

When i said "they don't censor their stuff", i obviously meant they don't cave to any outside pressure, influence, or outrage, and only censor when the laws or rules require it.

that's still censorship & that's what happen here in nobeta, but unlike Food wars there is no solution provided by the dev. Steam is not the only store in internet lol. sell the uncensored version on DLSite/JList/Kagura etc

there is no solution because there is no problem to solve
there is no uncensored version because there was nothing to censor to begin with, it's safe to say this is mostly how the they wanted the game to look like and a hypothetical "uncensored" version would only have very minor differences like the swimsuit with the wet shirt removed which is literally a nothingburger

i really won't complaint if you play censored games, tons of people do that but it's really sad when you start to sound like a censorship apologist.

plenty of proof has been posted in this thread:
- nobeta's twitter is borderland hentai. seems his patreon is the same too according to the other user. why this game is so tame?
- the squarepantsu in the default costume is a separate 3d model. the official artwork use normal pantsu
- bikini fully covered by wet shirt is a method used by KT to get pass sony's censorship
- the publisher has a history bowing down to steam's censorship (and yes steam is not the only game store in this planet earth, they can easily sell uncensored version elsewhere or provide a patch)

Dude, i am as hardcore anti-censorship as they come, and even i can see that there is no censorship, the original vision for the game WAS for it to be this tame, that is what the developers want, you wanting loli hentai on steam does NOT make this game censored.

I just think the game was never meant to be lolicon content but maybe lolicons expected it to be due to the dev's other content. It's just loli content rather than lolicon, even if she had panties, most people will see it as "kawaii" rather than lewd due to the art style and her perceived age. So maybe it just is what it is.

Also, alot of Cover Corp's girls have avatars that are loli characters, and some of them have had lewd gremlim moments, so I'm not sure Cover Corp would have much of a problem with panties since some of their girls have either shown panties or been on swimsuits while being very not sexually dimorphic. I think so long as it's not a hentai game that they would have been fine with alot of things.

Does it have to NOT be tame? Steam literally sells hentai games, one of them includes Hitler. lol I honestly just think the game was not meant to be lewd, despite the other content that the devs have, or rather Steam would not have any incentive to censor them, so if there was any censorship it likely would not have been from steam.
