If it's getting blocked by Chrome, try another browser. I remember people saying they were having similar problems but it's likely just a false positive; the archive contains an executable that installs the mod, that's probably what's triggering Chrome and some antivirus.
For what it's worth I've never had the installer nor the mod cause any issues on my end.
