Will River City Girls 2 support 4 players?

As far as I could find, none of the official press material makes a statement about it. In the screenshots of the game, we can see there's room in the top part of the screen for 2 more player bars.

Compare to the first game where the 2 player bars are expanded so that only they could fit up there.

Hoping RCG2 supports 4 players. Anyone seen proof of 4 player support?

They don't confirm, neither deny it, but it seems almost likely due to how the UI is set up.
Even if it ends up not having 4P, at least it has Online to join in whenever you like to and also having proper multiplayer for current standards.

They confirmed recently, it's 2P only
