I'm enjoying it. I like that they went with both professionals and popular youtubers known for their voice acting.
Arin from GameGrumps is one. He's the "Jimmy" (Double Dragon) lookalike at the dojo. I'm not sure yet, but I believe Lilypichu is the mall candy store girl's voice actor. Jacksepticeye voices the creepy dude that gives you side quests. I'm sure there's more but that's all I've noticed so far.

I did, I requested a refund already lol. WayForward trying really hard to make this a YouTube game by hiring famous "influencers" to voice act. Only reason is so they'll talk about the game on twitter and youtube. So rather than hire actual good VA's they make this decision instead. Oh, and can't forget about the dab attack. They're trying really hard with this one for some reason.

I'm 50/50 on this one. Some of the Voice Actors are pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazing, like Patrick "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥" Seitz. But 90% of the NPC's are irritating youtubers that have "some" training in voice acting. I think lilypichu has done some comercial gigs, but the rest of them are literally idiots breathing into a mic. Specially the ones at the Video Games store.
Ah, and you don't know how happy I am to punch someone with the voice of Cristina Vee. That makes me happy.

Actually jacksepticeye has voice acted in a number of other games, though admittedly they were all indies. He has a big role in this one, and so far he sounds fine to me.

Arin has been in TV shows, cartoons (Rick and Morty and Mighty Magiswords for instance), and a number of games as well. Even got a few big gigs like Dragon Age: Inquisiton and Marvel Ultimate Alliance. Here, he does a good job voicing "Jimmy". He may voice other characters but I'm unsure as to who just yet.

Personally I don't watch either of them anymore. Grew out of game grumps a long time ago, and I only know jack from a friend of mine who watches him sometimes. But they aren't just "literally idiots breathing into a mic". That said, I will agree the voice acting can be hit or miss, especially the games store guys. Not sure who they are but oof. that "Continue and countdown" line is not. It's just...not.

It's actually pretty smart of WayForward. These Youtubers are perpetually starved for attention so they'll act as free advertising for the game.

Yeah the voice acting I've heard is abysmal, it's one thing that most of them can't even say their own names properly (Kyoko's VA can, that's one of them at least) but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ the acting is so horribly exaggerated in the worst possible way, like Misuzu's line about having the meat.
