Is there a homage to the old River City Ransom music?

So far it sounds like the soundtrack is mostly some girly pop rock/anime stuff, which fits, but I was wondering if maybe they made their own take of the River City Ransom theme, you know, the famous one we all know as fans.

Yeah. In fact the store theme for this game is definitely a remix to the one from River City Ransom. As for any others, I'm unsure. Just started playing myself.

I'm not sure. I did fight a boss but I was too focused on it than listening to the music. Playing on Hard so enemies hit like trucks. There does seem to be ALOT of music though so far. Every few screens had different music tracks to them.

I believe a soundtrack came with the preorder for this game, so expect its music to pop up on youtube soonish.

Main theme mix is in the game, boss music remix plays in 4th boss.

Can confirm there a lot of remixes of the River City Ransom music throughout the game, you just have to get certain places to hear it. That being said, the 4th boss music is probably the best, holy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mushrooms

(Downtown series was a breach from Kunio series)
