Problem with certain resolutions and aspect ratio.
Not sure if this was reported or not, but 4:3 resolution doesnt seem to be supported. Maybe it was intended for this game to not support arguably "obsolete" resolutions since most people already own a 16:9 monitor.
I found this out by testing a CRT monitor i had, the result was a broken hud that extended beyond the native 16:9 limits of the screen.
Screenshot of the issue are linked below. Seems weird since the menus seem to be properly scaled to 4:3 for the most part.

And before any of you say anything about the aspect ratio, yes I DO have 16:9 monitors, two in fact connected, but i felt like playing this game on a CRT for reasons.

If it had 4:3 support, I would have bought it day 1.
Despite having a 900€ high-tier ASUS ROG PG279Q 144Hz G-Sync Monitor, modern pixelart games look & play better on my Sony Trinitron 400PS CRT.

Yeah, i'm like totally ignoring the fact CRTs were also made in 16:9,

and Trinitrons had 16:9 support... My trinitron TV does.

oh, and probably you might be able to overcome those graphical glitches using OverScan on a proper TV rather than a Monitor screen.

Or it could simply support 4:3 you know.
And almost all CRTs that are 16:9 are CRT TVs not Monitors which means almost all of them are lacking VGA input and converting from HDMI to Composite input almost destroys the purpose since you lose too much quality.

Or could get one of these... Widescreen CRTs weren't TVs exclusive...

You just tried to debunk my statement that 16:9 are almost always CRT TVs by posting the rarest 16:10 CRT Monitor (which isn't even 16:9) so in the end you unintentionally supported my statement.
16:9 was pretty much CRT TV exclusive, 16:9 HD CRT Monitors weren't really available to the consumer market, even the rare FW900 tubes aren't 16:9.

So I repeat, the obvious solution is that developers should additionaly keep supporting 4:3 aspect ratio when they release modern pixelart games. Even Sonic Mania has an absolut perfect 4:3 aspect ratio mode via config file and that still looks generations better than on any modern flat display no matter how expensive. It's the sad reality that the industry didn't solve LCD motion blur after decades. The next stop is Micro-LED and maybe then it will finally reach the motion clarity of CRT Monitors but doubt is justified and until then, 4:3 support is a must for 60Hz pixelart games.
