DIRECTX 11 on Unreal Engine 3?
Is there a way to have DirectX 11 on this game? I noticed it when it ran and the window stated DX9

I havnt tried in a long time but it can be done if you add the correct line through steam.

They should add a DX11 solution.

I doubt that some command line can make this game suddenly work in dx11.

It still works but it doesnt make it run better over 9 for me.

in steam right click Prelude > Properties > Launch Options > -dx11

you can alt tab after launching and you will see the icon says dx11
I think that Implementing Direct X 11 in the game would be a lot's of work , even if the unreal engine support Direct X 11 the game was not built with this API in mind ... therefore it's just can't make things better even if it's forced on.

and when I think about it , most Unreal engine 3 games are still made under direct X 9 for some reason.

of course the unreal engine also support OpenGL but trying to force it with -openGL command line just cause a crash ... lol

It's a bloody shame Microsoft does this since its a good operating system with a lot of crap.
