Cryo Knife Help

Everything Iv'e seen on the cryo knife says that it does more damage than regular melee, but the in game damage counters show that I do the same or less damage with the knife than without. I play Assault. Am i using it wrong, did it get nerfed at some point, or am I missing the point entirely?

what is cryo? I think it really sound high tech... kind of owh wow.. that was awesome .. must be alien

Maybe it does more damage as Recon, or are you not right clicking.

If you just melee or left click with it, you will do very little damage, but if you press the button you use to scope in, and you will instakill raptors on most difficulties and players in all PvP modes unless they have purchased Augments.
