[CRITICAL BUG] Unplayable Spinning/Rotating Camera Glitch
This is a common glitch with games that have the Unreal engine that were originally made for consoles then ported to PC.
Sometimes the game accidentally will assume it is still on a console and connect to what it thinks is the controller but instead start moving the camera to this 'controller'; Causing the camera to rotate to the left and upwards all at once.

Currently this bug is affecting each and every game I play, making the game unplayable.
I have never had a controller connected or even installed on this PC.
I had this with 'InFlux', but the devs contacted me and resolved it with some ini files.

EDIT: Please read through the thread rather than just posting "please help". A few people have posted very helpful information. Read and you'll find the answer.

I had previously posted in the official bug/glitch thread- but did not receive a reply even after a week.
You're saying that you don't have a controller plugged in when this happens? Do you have any controller based emulator on your computer like Xpadder or x360ce? Might cause some problem.
Nope, no controller-emulator or anything like that- and not even anything remotely close to controller.

I'm using a Z77 Asus motherboard, i7 CPU, 16GB DDR3 RAM, GTX670 & 650, Steelseries Rival mouse, Steelseries Apex keyboard & Logitech G930 Wireless Headset.

I'm certain this could be fixed by an option like "Ignore Controllers" under the gameplay options.
But really, I don't care what the fix is- if it works then it works.
If anyone that's having the same problem finds this- open up the UDKEngine.ini and change AllowJoystickInput to 0
Try unplugging your mouse. Yeah, that's right, the mouse.
I, too, have encountered that bug several times with Unreal-based games, and I think you are pretty much dead-on with the issue.

If unplugging the mouse stops the spinning, seriously try updating the mouse driver. Maybe not much use for standard 5-buck-store mouses, but if you by chance have some gaming mouse or whatever, that *should* solve the issue.

Alternatively, if it's a PS/2 mouse, try one of those Ps/2 to USB plugs, or vice versa.
I think most "non-standard" mouses still have those delivered with the box, so maybe you got one.

Because if you say you have no other control devices plugged in, I bet it's the mouse.
Hope that helped.

The mouse doesn't affect it at all- That's one of the first things I did, I unplugged each device connected to my computer one-by-one just to make sure it wasn't any of them.
The solution I put forth in my previous comment did seem to resolve it so far though. Thanks :D
Hah, never bothered to look into the files - thanks, might come in handy someday, good find!

And yeah, sorry - for me (and for some reason) it was always the mouse, dunno how or why. Had that hapen in 3 or 4 Unreal-based games when they where brand new, so my system drivers where out of date - Fixed that every time.

Good to see you found another (probably more universal) solution.

I might have been slightly unclear on this - the file might be in a different location to where I found mine, but it's always called that.
So please attempt to search for it and be thankful for the helpful information rather than getting angry with someone trying to help. :)
