looks cool
Sounds to be really good. :D Was hoping to see a Stygimoloch, but those dinosaurs are good too.

Damn, Stygimoloch is actually part of the roster but forgot to include the little guy. 30 minute window for edits also makes it unable to add but I can confirm it is one indeed :)
about time that ankylosaurus showed up these are all the threads requesting it:
too many due to wall of thread

They are looking awesome!
I'd like to see the Pachycephalosaurus[en.wikipedia.org] too, his ability could spice up gameplay. ;)

I hate to say it by the way you worded it you are in fact wrong, There saying now they were the juvenile stage of a much larger creature....does not mean they are fake einstein.

Actually, Brontosaurus is the fakie (long story, but there MIGHT be a possibility of ressurection), and according to taxanomic rule of thumb, Triceratops was named first, so it stays.

I'm also surprised Ice Age beasts are considered.

Did you not watch the video and did some research on your own? They clearly stated what they thought a brontosaurus was is now in fact a juvenile species of a much larger creature. Nice try.

Oi...

I know real paleontologists. Triceratops was named in 1889, Torosaurus was named in 1891. As for Apatosaurus/Brontosaurus, it was initialy because the head was missing, and they found the head of a completely different sauropod (initially thought to be Camarasaurus, now Brachiosaurus). Apatosaurus itself was named in 1877, Bronto in 1879. The ressurection thing I mentioned, I'll be bringin up a paper on that.

But to be on the safe side, there's 3 species of Apatosaurus: A. excelsus, A. ajax, and A. louisae. We already have skulls of the first and third species, but we just recently found one of the second: http://www.livescience.com/41133-missing-snout-apatosaurus-found.html

EDIT: 4 species, A. parvus...

One of the main differences between the skulls is the teeth, in this case, A. ajax had teeth more like a crocodile, as opposed to its cousins, which have chisel-shaped teeth.

Sorry if this seems like I'm getting too much at it, I'm just someone who keeps up to date.

Alright I see that you have done your research and I can appreciate that.
i love when the "braniacs" come try and use all these stats about creatures that existed millions of years ago. We're lucky if we even remotely have a fraction of the facts correct, let alone about events taking place in a fictional universe on the other side of the galaxy.

aka - who ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cares, enjoy the gameplay weirdos
