What happened to Orion: Dino Horde?

I saw it was $0.99 so why dont give it a try? My question is what is Orion: Prelude? Is that a kind of beta or something?

Orion: Dino Horde is now Orion: Prelude. It just got a huge new update with a nice bunch of new features. Everything that was Dino Horde is still part of the game, though maybe reworked or updated in some way.

There was a beta for Prelude the last few days to get some big scale testing done, but as of now it is the official public release. Which will not stop the developers from continuing their work on it.

Prelude is the new name and $0.99 is the new price.

it's a broken game, as of now.
this is actaully the second name change for a game called Dino Beatdown.
it will probably happen again in the next year or so when they need to do another sales drive.

Previously i would have agreed with this person, i've gotten banned from these forums several times myself.

But they have seriously improved the game over the time and it's a ton of fun to play now, besides, it's only $0,99. You really cant go wrong with that price in my opinion.

Bought the game on day one, it sure took some time but i finally feel like i got my money's worth.

Well, DOOMJESUS has it all wrong appart from the second name change. They changed the name to Dino Horde after a huge update, and now they did it again to Prelude. If they change it again, then it will likely have another big update.

This is not just a sales drive, but it actually worth your money. Honestly, how much would they scam you for? 99 cents? I think the everything you see in the trailers cost more to make.

Worth more than anything else you can buy for 99 cents/

Well I wouldn't say that I'm still happy with my $10.00 purchase a couple years ago so its 10x less now no big deal :)!
It was also call Orion:Dino Beatdown but no matter still a great game and for 99 cents it worth it :)!

I'd keep trying, i had a few problems first time i tried play the game have found games easily recently. You could also try hosting, if you have 2.5mps upload or better.

After reading this almost endless deathmatch, Can I play alone with bots players? And how difficult is it to find a host?

Yes, just create a game yourself (survival, conquest) and you'll be able to play with Bots.
