Hi Tyson, I'd like to give a deeper answer to your question. A big concept in Crypterion is time. It is tracked from the planet HUB. You'll spend months, and even years running your company in Crypterion. That means you'll have spent years getting to know your companions and business acquaintances.
This leads to the games friendships and romances. There are no explicit romances in the game. They are however meaningful and have value. I don't think other games have done this before. Many games jump you into the story and say, "Hey, this is your childhood friend!", but... you don't actually know the person. The people in Crypterion you associate with can "become" your best friend based off the time you spend with them.
