Report a translation problem
Thanks for DxDiag report, we'll check what might cause the problem. Most probably it's not connected to Windows 7, as we've tested the game on this system and no sound issues were found. In the meantime, wht we can suggest is:
1. Reinstall the game
2. Open it up with the administrator rights
3. Update sound card drivers (or motherboard drivers if you have an integrated sound card).
My drivers were up to date, never had audio issues up until now.
To my surprise, when I plugged my headphones into the front port, I could hear sound, but when I plugged speakers into the same port without changing any config, no sound played.
I disabled my audio controller and enabled it again, at which point it has thrown an error saying that there is something wrong with the driver for the front port.
From there it was an easy fix, I just downloaded the latest driver for VIA HD Audio, restarted the PC and the sound worked just fine while using the main port.
Hope this helps someone with the same issue, thanks for the help, Tate!
Well, to be fair we did nothing special :) Still, it's great you've solved the issue - have a good time playing!
To be fair, It is special that this game is still supported like this : )
Thanks for so kind words! :)
