can we either link cloudsaves or transfer from phone to pc?
the description says it all, ive tried googling for the info but the game itself doesnt have ui for account management and i would really like to just move to having this on my pc instead of phone. is that possible? i would be really happy if i could play on both but like im not going to play on steam if i have to start over with all of my purchases gone. i guess thats really a me problem too, but if there is a way to link the accounts , i would love to know how.

Hi,
Discord FAQ:
• Can I transfer my save between Steam and Android/iOS ?
Unfortunately not. I am using Steam's Cloudsave to save your progress, and it isn't compatible with the cloudsaving system I use for phones. There are no plans to make this possible in the future either -- and yes, I understand this is possible in IdleOn, but thats because I'm not using Steam Cloudsave in IdleOn, but I am for Idle Skilling (same reason why you need to login with an email to IdleOn on Steam, but you dont have to for Idle Skilling on Steam)

Well, looks like I'll just play the mobile version I've bought so much on if the dev doesn't care to support their old players on the new platform.

thank you for this , super helpful.
that settles it then!
the dev is such a money hungry attention ♥♥♥♥♥ narcissist and he knows a bunch of ppl have gotten to endgame already on this game so hes made it impossible to import progress from any other place other than steam so you have to put in time again and spend money for more gems to buy the things you already bought years ago. its pointless playing any of his games they are only made for him to gain money n to be super tedious.

"the dev is such a money hungry attention"
we all clicked on the yes I accept terms of use from Google, steam,.. and others.
we all have created by these "yes, I accept" this model of "free to play"
and today we manifest;
It was necessary to do it before!
now, the dev do what he wants, he put time into his code, he gets his work out of it!
or it's up to me and you to participate, or it's up to us to code our own game,

I started playing both games today, idk how long it'll be worth playing and how much tedious it's gonna be. I think it's Idle Skilling that claims to be designed to spend 10min/day playing.

That being considered, I had seem many games that demand more time to be spent. I don't expect to spend money on these games, if they get boring to the point I'd need to spend money on - which there are tons of games with way better content which do - I'll just quit.

And I think LavaFlame2 should add option for players to choose how to save our data. I saw review complaining of having to provide email, and here I see ppl complaining they wanna share data between platforms. If he'd let ppl choose, it'll all work fine.

I guess that IdleOn being an online multiplayer game requires players data to be stored on a server which also needs processing, which Steam cloud doesn't support. I guess that most common online games system is more expensive than LavaFlame2 wishes to use.

Idle Skilling is singleplay, so I guess he chose to use Google for Android and Steam cloud for PC because they're free for him, but of course their data aren't shareable.

I just looked this up now as I recently started playing Idle Skilling on Steam and wondered if I could share my saves on Android. There's no reason why Lava shouldn't add it as it's up to the app to share the data. If he doesn't want to for no unknown reason then fine, I'll just stick to the Steam version then. Might use the Android version for one of my alt accounts but in no way am I gonna spend any in-app purchases on it. Greedy sod needs to realise that being a douche doesn't pay.
