Vending machine a bad deal?

Many of the vending machine bonuses appear to be one-time only, but the price rises. Is this the case. Am I correct that these are bad deals to generally be avoided?

Example 1: Sour Cremchips grant 5 perk points. But won't those disappear on Ascension?

Example 2: It's unclear if White Choc Dollar is a one-time multiplier that you should use when you have a LOT of cash, or a constant multiplier that you should buy early.

Example 1, those are permanent and when you ascend/rebirth, you start with that amount of perks+ more from other source. Example 2, i really do not see what that would be a one time per upgrade, since every other source in the game is permanent. All the bonus' persist no matter what and really spring your account forward.

What the guy above says is true. All bonuses in the vending machine are persistent buffs and will never reset (unless the next update decides to add some kind of super duper afterrebirth that resets realm too).

I've ascended & rebirthed multiple times, the vending machine never resets and the things you can buy can be bought (as far as I can tell) infinitely.
Sour Cremchips for instance - I'm currently up +470 perk points and can still upgrade further.

Only one to by once is the Broccoli as that seems to do nothing.
