Afterlife Purple HP Scaling?

I don't know if this is a bug or not, but I made it all the way up to Afterlife 91 and then reset.
Now I'm back up to Afterlife 23 and the yellow apple, green worm thing now has 87E93 Purple HP.. making it nigh impossible for me to actually kill with my newly refreshed minions who are incredibly low level. Like.. it would probably take me more than a week to deal that much purple damage to this one thing thanks to the fact that I can only banish 5 minions per day.

can someone please tell me if this is a bug or not? because I literally can't progress in Afterlife anymore. I never even figured out what a torch is.

Edit: Okay, so while it might not take me a week, it's still very concerning to see the first purple HP bar to be so freaking high.

same here even if I didnt push afterline that far (I reset at afterline 72).
Banish HP bars are somehow based on your current banish level it seems

it's intended, but you should easily be able to get enough money to lvl one unit just through the restarting money in the vending machine, also get a lvl 200 of every type for all of the buffs until you move towards the second boss, because it will significantly increase your coin gain, cause Retiarius gives you 1,5 times your current money, Then when you reach the first enemy with purple hp you just lvl a pig/egg unit as high as you need to deal enough purple dmg, but never higher than that. And then just fill the rest of the barn slots with money buffs. Never overpay for anything else, because Retiarius multiplies per boss kill, so you should only spent to banish unless you have certain tower upgrades that give you your coins back.

I hate this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of "2 banishes per day now wait 24 hours". Change this crap.

I'm also at the apple after my first reset and I though I was doing something wrong. I leveled up my Summoning way too much in my first run because "big numbers". At least I also upgraded the Blue Tower so it gives me free Banishes.

I dont have that perk as I restarted "early" so now Im just stuck - earning coins at a pitiful rate - it will take me months to get the Rhino to evolve and deal damage.

even post Nerf the vast majority of you effort should be spent pumping up your economy. the 5 slots to cover all damage types are more than enough dps for all of realm.
