My theory is it's his hand that swipes the Detective's notebook at the end!

i agree with the theory! also he looks sorta like a blobfish to me? could be wrong tho

EDIT: upon replaying the game i noticed that the hidding guys hand looks *very* similar to the mysterious grabbing hand! So I think they are the same. I also noticed that the hand looks sort of claw-like tho so I think he may be more of a mole than a blobfish. Maybe it's meant to be a pun on "mole" as in someone who leaks information! :o
