[SOLVED] Is there a way to actually install this game?

The game is removed from the steam store. I tried using the link steam://install/104700 but it just re-routes me to the store page. AFAIK this means taht devs have set the license of this game to unavailable & it is getting shut down.
What can I do to play it? Mayve family sharing or a beta-gift of this game or something else?!

Would like to know this as well. Tried typing steam://run/104700 and steam://install/104700 in my browser. Nothing. Even tried dlc steam://run/212520 and steam://install/212520

You have to have either added the game to your library once in the past to be able to do that OR find one of the numerous beta gift copies that are still around (like those Dead Island Epidemic Gifts) and add that to your library. I did that and could install the game then.

Do you have one of those by any chance? I was able to get my hands on one but it doesnt fit my region

Would buying a dlc of this game allow to install & play it?

someone mentioned a product code on reddit. Z2D9B-QHGLL-4035F its 6 years or so old so not sure if it works. they say keep trying so maybe after 10 tries? i cant check since im on phone atm
