How do Lord ranked points work

So I got this “lord of white spire” rank and I played 7 games afterwards. In 3 of them I got first place, one of them was third place and 3 others were fourth place. And even though I haven’t lost a single match after becoming a lord, with each win I’m getting lower and lower rating and I didn’t get how this system works. But after checking world rankings, I realized that even in a world leaderboard with each win I was getting further and further from the best player in the world… can someone explain. What does that even supposed to mean lol. Am I supposed to lose?

Maybe other lords have been ranking up faster than you?

Say by the time you won 7 matches someone else won 10 and that person then "stole" your rank.

I'm not sure because I haven't reach Lord yet, but that would seem like the most plausible reason.

That shouldn't be happening, but maybe there is a stealth elo in place. I'm also Lord and it's not uncommon for me to lose points in 2nd/3rd if there are a lot of Boss ranked in the game.
