Feedback on the new "Prestige" mode ...

Its pure shi't, the streetfights are 100% RNG based, either you get 3 stars or not.

What's the point? I found my self wasting like an hour or so on the same street fight before I beat it because of lack of luck with the rolls and items.

That's not prestige, that's pure stupid.

It's a digusting grind to attract peasants from other 'grind' games like LoL and people who only play games on their phone.

I spent literal days on Julls House Call where you face a 2 star axe with a team that has like 4-5 tier 5 items on round 1.

I tried it again today and it was very different to the normal experience. The enemy team did not have 2-3 3* units on round 2 like normal, they did by round 3 however i got lucky with a few 3* myself and actually managed to win it.

Either i got extremely lucky or they have nerfed it a little, even getting a 3* Lifestealer on round 1 i was still getting crushed previously.

Puzzles are just fine, but street fight are totally idiotic, and 25% LESS DAMAGE thats INSANE for level 2 prestige, can only guess what l3 has.

I'm just here to agree. I was surprised people aren't complaining about Prestige SF more. I can get through some of them, but it's a slog.

Guys, they're been impacted by COVID-19. It's not like they can work from home on their computers to provide meaningful updates or content. This is a surprising amount of amazing content from a top tier AAA gaming company that we should eat up without question and not complain. I, for one, am amazed at the quality changes they've made from the original DAC. They took a free game in their own client and created on THEIR OWN, super bad version which they obviously have no idea what they're doing with and are asking people to pay for battle passes... amazing!

Right Heros and Alliances will make you win, its maybe 10-20% Luck.

Alot of RNG yes, though druids alliance has quite often allowed me to win these harder street fights, the raw stats gain in druid's auto lvling is quite a big blessing.

Well, that's me completed prestige 1, got absolutely nothing for it in the end, you don't even get the completion dialog you got each time you completed an underlords quarter originally. Just the same blue icon on White Spire to start prestige 2.
Other than the extra XP for battle pass (which is worthless past level 100) it was really not worth it in the end.
There is some text in game that says your underlords get a new appearance, but i have noticed nothing other than the gold crown you get for completing city crawl the first time.

Absolutely zero interest in even entertaining a single thought about doing prestige 2, i like the city being complete.

Valve, if you actually read these forums, give the award for prestige when you unlock the option to retake the city.
While i understand the concept of needing to actually start it for a second time to be given the prestige 2 note there should be at least SOMETHING to say you completed it, there is zero difference between someone completing prestige 1 and someone who just started it.

agree there are truely cool rewards missing. I finished Prestige 2 and now on my red prestige icon is just a "2x"-note... really? thats disappointing!
Will there be also any benefit in reaching more then level 100?...

Just give us cool cosmetic rewards and its fine!

Out of curiosity since you actually took the retake the city option after completing prestige 1 what colour is the crown above your underlords head?

Did you get any new appearances like it claims?

Is the damage nerf still 25% or is it higher?

How many keys were you given to start prestige 2?

Also, no there is 0 benefit for reaching past 100, at first i thought i was going to get a key every level or so since it still shows the key from the 100 when you level but you get absolutely nothing except a +1 to your level.

No cosmetic rewards whatsoever, I am at prestige 3, 35% then 45% less damage ...

I took over the city at like rank 50 then played the game normally until i got the battle pass to 100 before they added this take the city again stuff. Now that they made you able to take the city again you dont get any your items for street fights that were unlocked as part of the pass on the next retake. this in combo with the harder RNG streetfights make retaking the city again a boon. If they stick to the knockout format for streetfights you should be able to keep rerolling your units for the first round or add a restart battle option. It is frustrating when you are aiming for a certain build to take the computer down and you need to restart the battle 3 or 4 times to get it not to mention the RNG required after you get your build to make it work. Streetfights were about skill and knowing builds to make battles work. meaning it was more built toward being resourceful and learning decent builds with the computer for fun. There was more then one way to win depending how you played the builds you were given. Now its just you need these exact units at this star level or you will not win.

- No different color just the note "x2" for your red prestige icon.
- no new appearances
- damage nerf at 3: 35%, 4 will be maybe 45% so no cool afix...
- 2 more keys

prestige is not that hard guys. seriously until i reached level4 retake the city all levels took me pretty much 2-3 tries to play again. its all about using the correct units/ plus the items u get from the missions of underlords. reach level4 and then u see what is really hard to trying as someone said 1 whole day to beat that round plus there are only 4-5 rounds in the whole city that are in maximum difficulty like hogben's druids. so stop complaining and learn the game better i suppose
