No bro. This game was based on Auto Chess which is a mode created by community for Dota 2 january. The mode was a super success, so Valve and Riot decided to make their own Auto Chess "Cover"

Old game-modes and event game-modes were pretty original, story/characters/abilities/skins are pretty original aswell. Art/Music/Cinematics are original aswell.

It's not a bait, i stopped playing dota 2 long ago, i heard of the new mode stuff system or how ever it's called and heard about auto chess few times.

But i didn't look at any gameplay of it and such, and i saw this coming to LoL so i though this was a copy of it. Sorry that i don't have an interest around dota 2 and didn't knew about this.

No, it was a Dota mod they made into a full game but, as usual with VALVe it seems these days, it's a half assed direct port of the mod with very few visual or mechanical improvements. Very disappointing. Meanwhile TFT/Teamfight Tactics looks fresh, new, deliberately made specifically for the mode, looks better graphically and much better animations and more fluid combat - makes a far better viewing experience. Meanwhile VALVe decided to make their game as mobile as possible first and foremost.

Summing up: Lazy attempt at the genre when they had it in the palm of their hands. It's going to go the way of Artifact very fast because TFT is just so much better in literally every regard. This is the reason for the surprise launch: Getting it out before TFT launches for everyone to try salvage something.

VALVe. I'm VERY disappointed with your half assed "games" these days. You did it with BR(CS:GO BR), you did it with Artifact(Which no one asked for) and you're doing it with Dota Underworld. Absolutely stupid and lazy cash grab move and you have so much free money to throw at a proper attempt.

VALVE have nothing but themselves to blame for their failures.

Valve have announced that they were working with Drodo, the original creators of AutoChess, a custom gamemode made by them within the Dota 2 client by the way, to talk about the future of their gamemode, possibly talking about collaborating on Dota Underlords. This happend in February.

Half a month ago, they announced that both parties had a different mindset on the matter. As a result, we see the Epic Games' integration, as a counterpart, Dota Underlords by Valve.

I don't exactly know why Riot suddendly came into play, but why not. What truly grinds my gears is when uninformed parties, such as yourself, come onto the forums and point fingers without any knowledge on the matter. So, no. They did not copy. It would be wrong to say Riot copied Valve too. The companies saw an opportunity and took it within the same timespan.

Well i was uninformed, but the best way to get some information is to talk about it (make post) and make people tell you how it actualy is. Don't have to be mad just cause someone doesn't know everything, just tell them the information insted.
