I AM NOT RANKING UP!

EVER SINCE I HIT LIEUTENANT I I AM NOT RANKING UP EVEN IF I ALREADY WON SEVERAL TIMES ( 1ST TO 3RD PLACE ) WTF IS HAPPENING?!? I ALREADY SENT FEEDBACK SEVERAL TIMES AND NO RESPONSE!!!!!!

You need to place higher than people who are higher ranking than you. Simply placing 1st through 3rd by itself will not always guarantee you advancement. By increasing your rank, you decrease the chances that players placed below you in any individual game will be higher ranked than you, slowing your climb.

is that really how it works? I have been in the same rank for 3-4 days, I abandoned couple of games, got 7-8th places couple of times and still did not get demoted

As I was told, you can't downgrade to lower tier like from boss 1 to lieutenant. You are still losing actual mmr but the badge remains. And so you get stucked cause the badge doesn't downgrade and to lvl up your mmr is too low.

You probably get matched against lower rank people than you. But then again I have no idea. Watched Sing Sing playing party with his friends who by the way ar upstarts) and rest of random people were upstarts and grifters. He got to 1st place, won match and got 2 lvl ups. He had Smuggler lvl 2 rank and lvled up to Smuggler lvl 4.

I've heard that too. Your rank is always at the highest tier you managed to accomplish (like a season reward level). If your mmr drops below Boss, you will not downrank. That could lead to the impression, that you're stuck, because your mmr needs to climb back before you can rank up again.

Is that really the case? Did anyone drop from Boss to Lieutnant yet? I'm curious.

I have same expirience - you just need to improve your skill. Before Leutenant 1 u cant downrank, but afler u reach Leutenant u can lose your rank. I played all day and reached Leutenant-2 3 times, and after 1 lose lost rank and repeat.

This is dumb mmr system - they need to fix that.

Yes, u can lose rank but only after u reach leutenant-1 rank.

its called level not rank. RANK is your current badge LEVEL is representation of its number.
