Edit: I do get what you mean, though. Rather than calibrations, these are more like factory stress tests.
One who thought it would be good addition to the game was simply nuts.
Of course we do, and we assure you that we care about your thoughts. These two posts were similar, so we pasted the reply from the previous thread here, in case anyone missed our response in the other post.
Hi, best for wall runs ist
Stand Close to the Wall , Press the Direction the Arrows are if <<< Press and Hold A , while Holding that button Press and Hold Shift and u will Auto do the Wallrun ;)
One thought I had, it might be better if you only get one shot at calibration and it pays on a sliding scale based on how close you got to completion? That might be more fun than just a flat pass/fail.
i'm sorry but Annoying most of your player base that HATES jumping puzzles(Please see your other game with a jumping puzzle that got players to actually quit it) and then trying to justify yourself is not a proper way to keep your clientele.
For some people (read that most people who play your games so me), these puzzles are simply IMPOSSIBLE to finish, therefore locking content / bonuses / etc.
Please find other means to make minigames, right now it just feels like you want to mock us and make fun of us while we ♥♥♥♥♥ and moan about it. Not good PR.
I am long time player with really large library (not only on Steam), and I am die-hard fan of simulation and management games. And *twice in my life I asked for refund* - once when game had a bug preventing playing, and now, with Mech Mechanic. It's really frustrating not to be able to use part of the game simply because it's completely off-the-genre and way too difficult. Other puzzles aren't too appealing for me as well, especially with time pressure, but calibration made me rage-quit and refund.
Some people may like it, some like me and all friends in this and several other discussions simply *do not* like it. Solution - make simple settings in game, call it "arcade calibration" and let us click "NOPE" and play without it. Same for time limits - make second setting, if someone want to play with time pressure, fine. For those who like my humble self likes to enjoy slow pace simulation, let us press both as "NO". And everyone will be happy.
p.s. I WILL buy the game again, even without loyalty discount, if You remove aforementioned calibration challenge and time pressure, I enjoyed the remaining game aspects. Something tells me I'm not the only one...
You can only wall run on the walls meant for it and you have to JUMP at the wall before you hold shift.
