Transfer gold to trading post

I have 34 villagers that are unassigned and open to labor. Trying to move 100 gold to my trading post in order to start making purchases. All the searches I've done on Google to find out why say it's nothing more than needing to allow time to pass in game. It's been 5 years....No gold has been moved. What tf am I missing?

Merchants do the transferring to the trade post. If it is about only 100 gold ingots then merchants should have done the transferring long ago. They won't do this only if they have a lot of other items to transfer or if they are sick, or may be you have 0 merchants in the trade post. Check if you have merchats there and what are they doing right now.
Also make sure you did initiate this transferring correctly. Go to the trade post, click on "Transfer gold" button. Fill up 100 to the Trade post input field.
Laborers can help you transfer goods closer to the trade post, but they will only move items between storages. So to speed up the process you need to have a storage next to the trade post with set minimum limits for the required goods. This way laborers can deliver goods closer to the trade post and merchants will spent less time moving between those storages and the trade post.

Do you have Gold Ingots in storage, or just Gold Ore? And if you have Gold Ingots, are they stored in a location that is set to store a minimum amount of Gold Ingots? You could also try to see where your Gold Ingots are stored to begin with, to see if there's maybe a distance problem.

To save you some hassle, you could try to build a Vault next to your Trading Post, that way Gold Ingots get transferred to your Trading Post very fast.

All of these conditions are filled. I'm trying to move 100 gold ignots. The worker that is assigned to my trade post sits there scratching her ass. Coming up on year 8 since I ordered the transfer

I'm a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ idiot. I didn't realize that the slider in trading post isn't only moving from town center. also moves from trading post. i was trying to move 100 from the post smh
