Magical poopless cows
Barns don't produce poop?
Has anyone on the development team ever been even downwind of a farm?
I demand poop for my Compost Yard!
Make it so!

That is all.

Duh?

"Barns now generate waste based on number of cows during winter, which can be collected by Nightsoil Collectors to generate compost. Be aware that waste accumulating can deteriorate the health of the herd!"

That's a great patch note, but my barn has gone an entire warm season now without producing poop number one. Have you ever met a cow that only pooped in winter? Or that went six months without going back into the barn just because it's warm? What kind of sense does that make? If they're pooping in the fields, why are my fields not getting a fertility bonus from the fertilizer?

I demand poop equity.

Doesn't grazing increase the fertility of the area you designate?

The fertility of the ground increases. But only for farms, not for barns fertility (grass)

And if you let them graze on your fields, they eat the crops, so big downside there.

Be careful what you ask for.... This might turn out to be "not so good."

Cows automatically generate waste on the grazing area or fields they graze on. This increases the fertility of the area.

When they are indoors for the winter, the waste instead accumulates and is picked up by compost yards.

You already have your poop.

Yes but I wanted to have my poop and eat it t....

Wait that doesn't work.

Now is the winter of our excrement?

I think the point is that it is working correctly. Cows graze, poop on their grazing spot(increasing fertility). You are welcome to start a rotation of land for grazing and crop production. Cow's don't damage fields that aren't active, so a simple rotation is easy to do.

They ended up making veggie burgers out of the stuff, to offset the emissions of the cows.
